Two people dead in plane crash at PGV Greenville Airport

Two people in a plane crash at Pitt-Greenville Airport on Friday are now confirmed dead.


Airplane crashes in Greenville near airport
The private plane left PGV around 7:45 a.m., and was heading towards Vero Beach, Florida.
The plane was confirmed by North Carolina Highway Patrol Public Information Officer, Rico Stephens, to have crashed in the yard of consolidated Pipe and Supply at 1630 North Greene Street.

People who witnessed the crash reported that they felt how loud the crash was when it happened.

“It’s a yard of a nearby business, just material there for the business and everything. Gravel yard surrounded by bushes,” North Carolina Highway Patrol Public Information Officer, Rico Stephens said.

“I will tell you this, everyone near the crash area as far as the business is accounted for and no one else was hurt during the crash.
