Two people died after suffering gunshot wounds in a shooting at the night in McKinney, police said.
According to the McKinney Police Department, officers responded to the shooting around 5:50 p.m. near the intersection of Chestnut Street and Colorado Street.
Police said two people, a 17-year-old and a 22-year-old, sustained gunshot wounds during the incident and were taken to a local hospital. Both died from their injuries, according to police.
