The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and Cherokee County Emergency Services responded to a home in Murphy, North Carolina, after receiving a 911 call.

The father arrived at the home of his separated wife around 10 a.m. to exercise custody of their twin sons, according to authorities. He told authorities that when he arrived, he discovered that his sons were dead.

After she was released from the hospital, authorities arrested her in Union County, Georgia. She was taken to the Cherokee County Detention Center in North Carolina and is being held without bond.

Tenn. Woman Who Vanished 2 Weeks Ago Found Dead in Creek, Blunt Force Trauma Is Cause of Death

A Tennessee woman who was first reported missing two weeks ago has been found dead in a Nashville-area creek.

Metro Nashville Police announced that the body of Emily Bradley, 44, was found in  Whites Creek near Buena Vista Pike, Tenn. The Medical Examiner’s Office said that her cause of death appears to be blunt force trauma, according to police.

Bradley, of East Nashville, was last seen on Feb. 18 by a male companion, an investigator told WKRN. Police also told the local outlet that a license plate recognition camera picked up the 44-year-old’s gray Chevrolet Cruze in Hendersonville on Feb. 21, but it is unknown who was driving the vehicle.

“Nobody has seen or heard from her since, and we were in constant contact throughout her whole life,” her father Nick Bradley previously told the outlet.

“If we just knew something, it would be better than knowing nothing. Her mother and I, we’re just completely distraught,” Nick said at the time. “We are hoping for the best, bracing for the worst. We just don’t know.”

Bradley’s car — which has a Florida license plate with tag 086PML and a dent on the trunk — is still missing, and police are asking for anyone with information on its whereabouts to report it to local authorities.

The Nashville community has been heavily involved in Bradley’s missing person case, with more than 1,000 people joining a “Emily Bradley Missing Discussion” Facebook page, now renamed as “Emily Bradley Memorial Page” since the news of her death was announced.

Dozens of Bradley’s friends, family and supporters have left messages honoring her memory since Sunday, and many have still been searching for information about her missing car.

“My sweet Pixie friend,” one of Bradley’s friends and supporters wrote on Facebook. “I am at a loss of words. You were so precious to me. I will always treasure our sweet memories.”

“That energy you put out on the dance floor, Sometimes it was THE reason to go to a party,” another friend added. “You’ve been taken from us too soon, but rest in heaven sweet angel. You have a very special seat up there.”

Police wrote in a press release Sunday that anyone “with information on Bradley’s death or her missing vehicle are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.”

The car then plunged over the edge, landing onto a concrete divider on the 134 Freeway below and catching fire afterward, KABC-TV and CBS affiliate KCBS-TV reported

Both victims were hospitalized in serious but stable condition, according to KTLA and KCBS-TV.

Three westbound lanes of the 134 Freeway were temporarily closed following the crash, according to KABC-TV.

Walt Disney World has raised ticket prices

Walt Disney World has put 2025 tickets on sale, and prices for many tickets have gone up from 2024 pricing. Some of the lowest single-day, single-park ticket prices have gone up by $10 for 2025.

For example, some late-August weekday tickets at Disney’s Animal Kingdom have gone from $109 for 2024 tickets to $119 for 2025. Other single-day tickets for different parks during different periods are also showing increases over many 2024 prices. For example, on a Saturday in late April when demand is high, Animal Kingdom is $169 in 2025, up from $164 in 2024. Magic Kingdom also rose by $5, from $184 to $189, on that same weekend day in late April. The maximum single-day, single-park ticket published price for 2025 is $189 as of February 27. That’s the same as the peak price in 2024.

Ticket prices for November and December 2025 were not yet available as of February 27. Prices on the Park Hopper options that allow guests to visit multiple parks on the same day have also gone up by about $5 to $10 for many dates in 2025. This isn’t the first price hike at Disney parks in recent years. Two increases were implemented in 2022 at Walt Disney World. Disneyland has also increased prices more than once recently. Madeline Soto: What we know about 13-year-old’s disappearance in Florida

police in Florida announced on Friday that they had found the body of 13-year-old Madeline Soto, less than a week after she failed to show up for school in Kissimmee, Florida.

After a four-day search, the local sheriff’s office said it was “confident” that she was dead. The grim discovery was made several hours later

Her mother’s boyfriend, Stephan Sterns, is lead suspect and in police custody on sexual battery and possession of child sexual abuse material charges.

Here is everything we know about the Madeline Soto case so far.

When did Madeline Soto go missing?

Madeline Soto, 13, was reported missing on Monday 26 February at around 8.30am.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) said that she was last seen off Village Park Drive in Kissimmee, near Orlando, heading to school.

Madeline was described as white, 5’1” tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a green sweatshirt, black shorts and white Crocs.

Her mother’s boyfriend, Stephan Sterns, claimed that he had dropped her off close to Hunter’s Creek Middle School but not outside.

However, the girl never showed up for class. Her mother only discovered that Madeline was missing when she went to pick her up from school later that day.

More than 50 law enforcement officers spent the days following Madeline’s disappearance searching for her in nearby woodland. Officers had found messages on her phone that she said she wanted to live in the woods when she turned 13.

Madeline Soto’s body discovered

On Friday 1 March, OCSO said they now believe that Madeline was never dropped off near school on Monday morning and that she was already dead at that time.

Sheriff John Mina said he had met with Madeline’s mother on Thursday night to tell her he was “confident” that her daughter was dead and that his deputies were now looking for her body.

Florida police arrest boyfriend of missing teen’s mom on unrelated charges

The sheriff explained that OCSO has video evidence which shows Mr Sterns throwing items into a dumpster behind their apartment building at around 7.35am. Those items included the teen’s backpack and her school-issued laptop.

”At 8.19am, we have evidence that shows Stephan Sterns returning to the complex and Madeline was visible in that vehicle. We believe she was already dead at that time,” the sheriff said.

On Friday afternoon the sheriff’s office confirmed that her body had been found in a wooded area in Osceola County.

“At about 4:30 p.m. today, off of Hickory Tree Road, Osceola County Sheriff’s Office search teams located the body of Madeline Soto in a wooded area. Madeline’s family has been notified,” the office said in a statement.

“We have no additional information to release at this time. Kissimmee PD is the lead agency in this homicide investigation. That work continues.”

Mother’s boyfriend is main suspect

On Wednesday 28 February, OCSO announced that it had arrested Mr Sterns, following the discovery of “disturbing images” on his phone, which he had tried to delete. These photos and videos were “criminal and sexual in nature”, the office said.

The office shared a video of the suspect in handcuffs.

At Friday’s briefing, Sheriff Mina said that investigators believe Mr Sterns dumped Madeline’s belongings before moving her body, rather than taking her to school as he had originally claimed.

Kissimmee Police Department has Mr Sterns in custody. He is being held on sexual battery and possession of child sexual abuse material charges.

Kissimmee PD shared photos of Mr Stern’s car, which he was seen driving between 1pm and 2.30pm on 26 February in the area of State Road 192 and Old Hickory Tree Road. It is believed he had a flat tyre at the time.

Madeline’s mother is not considered a suspect at this time.

Tributes paid to Madeline

In a statement released on Friday afternoon, Orange County Public Schools Superintendent Dr Maria Vazquez paid tribute to their “precious student”.

“My thoughts and prayers go out to Maddie’s family and her school community,” Dr Vazquez said. “To lose a child so suddenly and tragically is extremely difficult especially for family and friends.

“Counsellors continue to be available for any student or staff member dealing with the news. I ask that you keep the entire Hunter’s Creek Middle School community in your prayers as they grieve the loss of one of their own.”

A prayer vigil was held on Friday evening.
