A man was shot in the Portland neighborhood early morning, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Around 4:40 a.m., LMPD First Division officers responded to the report of a shooting on South 29th and West Main Streets.
When they got there, police found a man who had been shot.
He was taken to UofL Hospital with what police said appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The LMPD Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating, and there are no known suspects at this time.
