
At least 17 people have been taken to a local hospital after a mobile lounge crashed into a dock at Dulles Airport.
a mobile lounge transporting passengers to Concourse D struck the dock at an angle as it was pulling up to the building, according to officials at the airport.
Passengers deboarded the mobile lounge and were evaluated by Airport Authority Fire & Rescue for injuries. At least eight people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to MWAA.
It is unclear how many passengers were onboard at the time of the crash.
The airport remains open and is operating as normal.
