The White House announced that the United States is witnessing the fastest economic recovery in its history, as unemployment fell to 4.6 percent.

The White House stated that this percentage exceeded the goals set by the US rescue plan for President Joe Biden.

He added that Biden’s plan helped create 531,000 jobs during the month of October alone, while the number of new jobs since he took office has reached more than 5 million.

The statement also revealed that unemployment benefits have fallen by more than 60 percent since January 2021, the lowest rate since the beginning of the Corona epidemic.

The unemployment rate fell this year more than any year in US history, according to a White House statement, while workers this month benefited from one of the largest increases in average wages recorded.

Commenting on this, President Biden tweeted, “Creating more than 5.6 million jobs, with an unemployment rate of less than 5 percent, a big improvement since I took office.”

“This is a sign that we are on the right track,” he added.

He also said initial unemployment insurance claims have fallen by about two-thirds since taking office, noting that this is real progress.
