McLEAN COUNTY (WEEK) — 81 of the 350 new COVID-19 cases since last Wednesday in McLean County are kids 11 and younger.

The health department’s weekly numbers also shows 39 people between 12-17 contracting COVID-19.

0-11 = 81

12-17 = 39

18-19 = 14

20s = 48

30s = 48

40s = 45

50s = 32

60s = 20

70s = 14

80s = 9

90s = 0

100s = 0

Today, the county reported 67 new cases since Tuesday, September 29 — bringing the total of probable and confirmed cases to 22,094.

Currently, 362 people are isolating at home. 21,449 people have been released from isolation and are considered recovered.

More than 494,400 tests have resulted in a cumulative positivity rate of 4.5%. The rolling 7-day positivity rate is 2.8% through Tuesday.

96% of ICU beds in McLean County are in use, while 95% of total hospital beds are in use.

Twenty-five people are in a McLean County hospital for COVID-19. Twenty-six McLean County residents are hospitalized, not necessarily in McLean County.

257 people have died in McLean County from COVID-19.

According to the CDC Data Tracker McLean County is currently experiencing high community transmission based on the 7-day moving average of new cases per 100,000 (228.55 per 100,000) of COVID-19 (data as Monday, September 27). 

Approximately 186,189 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in McLean County and 54.10% of the population are fully vaccinated. 55.18% of Illinois residents are fully vaccinated. The IDPH has created a dashboard on their website to track vaccine delivered and administered in the state: https://dph.illinois.gov/covid19/vaccinedata?county=McLean.

Fully vaccinated residents by age category are as follows:

Age 12-17 = 56.08%

Age 18-64 = 58.33%

Age 65+ = 89.88%
