PEORIA COUNTY (WEEK) — The Peoria City/County Health Department is reporting one new death and 45 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
This brings the cumulative deaths up to 393 and cumulative cases up to 26,145.
23 people are currently hospitalized while 448 are currently at home in isolation.
The Peoria City/County Health Department said 50.37% of the population is vaccinated.
The health department also revamped their COVID-19 daily infographic which arranges daily COVID-19 statistics into a clearer, easier-to-read format.
“After talking to members of our community and reading public comments, we decided to revise our graphic to not only clarify our daily information but also make it easier to read across all digital devices,” Public Health Administrator Monica Hendrickson said. “This infographic continues to be one of the most useful pieces of information that we provide to the public regarding the serious impact COVID-19 continues to have on our community and local healthcare systems.”
