UPDATE (7:50 p.m) – A 19-year old man was killed in a shooting Monday evening at Stop N’ Save in the 800 block of NE Jefferson, said Peoria Police Chief Eric Echevarria.
Police expect to release information soon about the suspect’s vehicle.
PEORIA (WEEK) – A large police presence was seen outside a Peoria convenience store Monday night because of an apparent shooting.
Police were at Stop N’ Save in the 800 block of NE Jefferson. Police put up crime scene tape over a two-to-three block area. A 25 News crew saw shell casings, and the glass door to the business was shattered.
Police were not providing details about what happened.
