WASHINGTON (WEEK) – There’s a new event at Five Points Washington. Sunday was the first ever Fall Outdoor Market.
Guest were invited to enjoy live music, a cash bar, food trucks and shopping from more than 40 craft vendors, boutiques and local businesses. It also featured a barnyard discovery mobile petting zoo with face painting and balloon artists for the kiddos. The markets biggest feature was the Bridge Foundation, which benefits Washington schools.
“I think especially right now, they’re special just because of everything with COVID. People are looking for fun things to do with their families and friends but it’s kind of limited right now due to not being able to do things indoors,” special events and marketing assistant, Samantha McIntyre said.
The market is part of a three consecutive market series. The first being Sunday, Sept. 19, the next is Sept. 26 and the last is Oct. 3.
