WEST PEORIA (WEEK) — West Peoria’s Cannabis Camp returned for its fifth year and at a new location Saturday.
Trinity Compassionate Care Center invited the community to enjoy live music, food and some other activities at the old Sky Harbor restaurant, now named ‘High Harbor’.
50 local vendors were there with marijuana merchandise.
Organizers said the event helps to get rid of a certain stigma surrounding cannabis.
“It’s really exciting to see the positive reactions we’ve had from everybody,” said Trinity’s Marketing Director Katie Sanders.
“Everyone’s just really open to it and just has had a great time,” she added.
The two day event wraps up Saturday at 10 p.m. Those looking to go before it ends will need to buy tickets, and prove they are over 21.
