Areas of fog will continue across portions of Livingston, Ford,
and Iroquois Counties in east central Illinois, as well as Benton
County in Indiana, through 8 AM. this morning. This includes
along parts of Interstates 55 and 57. The fog is dense in places,
resulting in sharply reduced visibility down to a quarter mile or
less.
Allow extra travel time in this region this morning. If
encountering fog, slow down and use your low beam headlights, and
ensure plenty of space between your vehicle and the one in front
of yours.
