PEORIA, Ill. (WEEK) – Thousands of farmers descend on Decatur, Illinois for the 2021 Farm Progress show to see the latest, fastest, and greatest in farming equipment, demonstrations, and strategies. Locally, there are several equipment companies that will have a presence as well as the Macon County 4-H selling food for a fundraiser.

“One of them is Precision Agriculture from Tremont. There’s 360 Yield Center from Morton, I’m sure they’ll have their presence, showing farmers the latest in technology and what they can adapt and use on their farms to make them more efficient.” Said Patrick Kirchhofer, manager of the Peoria County Farm Bureau.

The Farm Progress Show alternates between Boone, Iowa, and Decatur so this year being closer allows for more of a local presence at the event. The show will continue through this Thursday, September 2nd.
