McLean County COVID Cases Rise


BLOOMINGTON (WEEK)- McLean County Department of Health reports 11 new cases of COVID-19 as of today.

Despite McLean county leading in vaccination numbers the COVID cases are still rising.

“Still even with those high numbers and being among the highest in the state we’re still seeing a spike in the number of new cases that we’re seeing” says Marianne Manko, Public Affairs Coordinator for McLean County Department of Health.

At this time four 428 people are quarantined to their homes. Today’s COVID update report notes the first death since August 9th.

The Department of Health continues to urge everyone to social distance and wear mask while out in public.
