Police ask for help to find missing ISU graduate student

BLOOMINGTON (WEEK) – Bloomington Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing Illinois State University graduate student.

Family and an ISU faculty member reported Jelani J.J. Day, 25 missing on Wednesday under “unknown circumstances.”

Day’s family last spoke to him Monday evening, according to police. Relatives tried to find him, but haven’t been successful. Day also has not shown up to class the past several days, police said.

Day is a black male, 25 years old, 6 feet, 2 inches tall, 180 pounds, with short black hair, brown eyes, and some facial hair. 

Day is known to drive a white, 2010 Chrysler 300 (Illinois registration #CH74067).
