PEORIA COUNTY (WEEK) – Traffic was blocked Wednesday night on eastbound Interstate 74, between Peoria and Brimfield, because of a semi rollover crash.
At 7:33 p.m., the Illinois Department of Transportation said on its Facebook page that all eastbound lanes would be blocked at milepost 80 for about 10 hours. If IDOT’s estimates are correct, the eastbound lanes of 74 would be open for traffic again about 5:30 a.m. Thursday.
IDOT said eastbound traffic is being diverted at U.S. Route 150 (Exit 75) to Kickapoo to get back onto I-74.
No other details about the semi accident were immediately available.
