PEORIA (WEEK) — Peoria Police are requesting help from the public in locating a suspect from a shooting last Sunday.
Jared M. Cameron, 29, was identified as a suspect in the shooting that took place around 5:10 p.m. on Sunday, August 15 in the 2300 block of North Flora.
Cameron is described as a black man, approximately 6 foot, 180 pounds, with short black hair, brown eyes and a beard.
Peoria Police say Cameron is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
Anyone seeing him should immediately call police.
The victim of the shooting was transported to the hospital with what police call severe, but non-life-threatening injuries.
