Erica Balderas Curtis works for Advanced Correctional Healthcare.

Getting the suicide prevention screening questionnaire translated from English to Spanish was important to her — bringing about her two passions: mental health and her culture.

“I truly believe in our company’s mission, everybody deserves quality healthcare, and I was so excited to contribute to that,” she said. “It was really important to me to find some way to contribute to the community.”

“The more involved I got with St. Jude it made me want to do more. So I found Ronald McDonald House and was so excited to be able to help them by providing meals to families who are staying there during their sick child’s time of need. When you care about somebody and you show that you are interested in them personally, as well as professionally, they want to give you their best. I know that’s how I feel with the leaders in my company and I hope that’s how people who work with me feel, as well.”
