PEORIA, Ill. (WEEK) — Two people are expected to survive after being shot early Wednesday morning.
Peoria Police Spokeswoman Sgt. Amy Dotson says officers were called around 1:15 AM to the Marathon Gas Station on West Forrest Hill, on a report of a man being shot.
There, they found a man with gunshot wounds to his arm and back.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
At that time, officers were also told that a second victim, a man, arrived to the hospital by private vehicle with a gunshot wound to his back.
His injuries are also considered non-life threatening at this time.
There is no suspect information at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.
