At 755 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Princeton to near Wataga. Movement was
northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near…
Port Byron and Cordova around 800 AM CDT.
Albany and Woodhull around 805 AM CDT.
Garden Plain and East Clinton around 810 AM CDT.
Fulton and Galva around 815 AM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Morrison,
Kewanee, Fairhaven, Chadwick, Coleta, Milledgeville and Annawan.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 9 and 59.
Interstate 74 in Illinois between mile markers 14 and 33.
Interstate 88 between mile markers 1 and 44.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
