PEORIA, Ill. (WEEK) — It is unclear what caused an early morning house fire in Peoria, that left one man dead.
It broke out Wednesday morning in the 5000 block of Endres, where the Fire Batallion Chief says they had reports of smoke in a building with reports of fire.
When they got on scene, they found the home on fire, with a neighbor saying someone might be inside.
Firefighters went inside, and found the unidentified man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
More information is expected to be released later on Wednesday.
