A person with direct knowledge of the discussions tells The Associated Press that goalie Marc-Andre Fleury has informed the Chicago Blackhawks he is committed to playing for them this season. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because Fleury has not announced his decision. Fleury had been contemplating his future after being traded to Chicago by the Vegas Golden Knights last week. The 36-yera-old Fleury had hoped to finish his career with Vegas. The Blackhawks posted an image of a flower — Fleury’s nickname — on their Twitter account.
