
Two people have died after shootings overnight in Indianapolis, police reported.
On night, a man died after a shooting on the city’s northwest side. Police found him suffering from gunshot wounds about 10 p.m. in the 4700 block of Georgetown Road near West 47th Street, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. He was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition before he died, IMPD said.

In an unrelated incident overnight, a woman was found dead on the north side about 4 a.m. Friday, according to police.
A police report says officers heard gunshots in the area and upon investigating further, they found the woman shot along with a parked SUV running on the 3000 block of North Capitol Avenue near Wes30th Street.
