ADELPHI, Md. (AP) — One man was killed and four others injured in a shooting in Prince George’s County, police said.
News outlets report that the shooting happened in a residential area along Metzerott Road in Adelphi. When officers arrived they found five men suffering from gunshot wounds and one man was pronounced dead on the scene, police said. The other four men were taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening, police said.
Preliminarily, police said they don’t believe this was a random crime and there’s no threat to the community.
