EAST PEORIA (WEEK) – Blood donors will soon have the chance to win big at Par-A-Dice Hotel and Casino.
From July 7 through July 31, patients who donate with the American Red Cross will receive an automatic entry for a chance to win gas for a year with a value of $5,000.
According to a press release, the Red Cross is currently experiencing a severe blood shortage that is negatively affecting blood product availability for patients at hospitals across the nation.
Eligible donors are invited to come on down to the 15th Annual Rock-N-Roll Up Your Sleeve Blood Drive on Wednesday from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the Par-A-Dice Hotel Ballroom in East Peoria.
