Beaumont Police are investigating a homicide at a car wash in the 5000 block of Haden, just off Lucas.
It was reported at about 4 p.m.
Police blocked off the area with crime scene tape, including the area around an SUV.
There were also a number of yellow plastic evidence markers on the ground.
Police say they’ve taken one person into custody. No charges have been filed at this time.
A wrecker towed away the vehicle and police left the scene at about 6 p.m.
Justice of the Peace Ben Collins Sr. has ordered an autopsy.
