A 14-year-old boy and two other people were shot at evening in East Garfield Park.
They were standing on the sidewalk in the first block of South Springfield Avenue about 7:45 p.m. when several gunmen opened fire, Chicago police said.
The boy suffered wounds to both legs and was transported to Stroger Hospital in fair to serious condition, according to police and Chicago fire officials
The man, 34, was struck in the left leg and taken to the same hospital in serious to critical condition, police and fire officials said.
A female, age unknown, suffered a gunshot wound to the left calf and refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
No one was in custody.
