The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a
* Flood Warning for
the Sangamon River near Oakford.
* From Monday afternoon to late Wednesday morning.
* At 8:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 464.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 471.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
Monday afternoon to a crest of 471.8 feet Tuesday morning. It will
then fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning.
* Impact…At 471.0 feet, Flooding begins to agricultural areas not
protected by levees.
