After a very active Friday, Mother Nature is not done yet. A flash Flood Watch continues to be in effect for much of the viewing area and will be until 7:00 AM Saturday. Bloomington and the areas surrounding received nearly 5 inches in one hour. The Flash Flood Warning for parts of Tazewell and McLean Counties will expire during the overnight hours as rain continues into Saturday morning.
Storms are possible during the evening hours once again on Saturday after a day with highs in the 80s again and humid. The storm prediction center has the region in a marginal, 1 out of 5 risk for severe weather. However, flooding will continue to be a major concern considering the amount of rain we have received. Timing is looking similar to Friday, we will continue to track this situation.
