Three people have died and five others are wounded after a shooting late night in Richmond, police said.
Of the five victims who survived, one is in critical condition and the others are in good to fair condition.
The shooting happened on 2100 block of Dunn Avenue in Richmond just before 11 p.m. There was a party going on in a house at the time, police said.
One of the victim’s family members said this was what’s known as a Marimba party, a Guatemalan music and dance party being held on Father’s Day.
He said his uncle, who sells fruits around the Bay Area, was one of the three people killed.
No arrests have been made yet, but police say they believe there were two shooters.
Investigators are continuing to talk to witnesses and will remain at the scene all morning.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
