LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A Lincoln man who was shot in the face during a party over the weekend has died, police said.
Deontae Abron, 31, died at an Omaha hospital, police said.
Investigators said a fight involving several people broke out at the party about 4 a.m. Saturday, just west of Lincoln Northeast High School. Someone fired several shots during the disturbance and at least one area home was damaged.
Many people fled from the scene, and police on Wednesday asked witnesses to come forward, particularly those who have cellphone video of the fight.
