One person was killed and five wounded in a shooting in Baltimore, the city’s police commissioner said.
Commissioner Michael Harrison said the shooting erupted in the western district of that city and that the five wounded ranged from serious to critical.
He refused to reveal the identities of those who were shot dead.
Officers responded to news of the shooting after 2 p.m. Harrison said, and found two people with gunshot wounds. He said those two people were taken to hospitals, while the other four arrived in private cars.
It was not immediately clear what caused the shooting and initial details remained a mystery.
