4 injured in gang-related drive-by shooting

YONKERS, N.Y. (AP) — Four people were wounded in a drive-by shooting in Yonkers, police said.

The shooting happened at around 4:15 p.m. on Elm Street, the Journal News reported. Yonkers Police Commissioner John Mueller said four people were struck by gunfire, including one person who had “critical chest trauma,” but all were expected to survive.

Mueller said the shooting appeared to be gang-related. Several people were in custody, he said. Charges were pending.
