15-year-old boy killed, man wounded in East Harlem shooting


NEW YORK (AP) — A 15-year-old boy was killed and a 30-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in East Harlem, police said.

Officers responded to a 911 call at 10:30 p.m. and found the two shooting victims near the corner of East 123rd Street and Lexington Avenue, police said. The teen had been shot in the upper body and the adult man had been shot in the right knee, they said.

Both victims were taken to Harlem Hospital, where the 15-year-old was pronounced dead. His name was not immediately released. The 30-year-old shooting victim was in stable condition.

Police have made no arrests.
