Authorities are investigating the shooting death of a child near NE 29 and Martin Luther King Avenue.
Oklahoma City police said the shooting appears to have been accidental.
Authorities did not release the gender of the child, nor did they confirm the child’s age to The Oklahoman.
They are investigating who all was in the home at the time of the shooting and how the weapon was accessible.
Police said more information would be released.
