
At least three people have been killed and several others injured in a mass shooting in North Carolina.
Police raced to a home in 7th and Kidder Streets in Wilmington where they found three people had been killed and four more were injured in the shooting.
the shooting happened around midnight.
Wilmington Police Chief Donny Williams told the outlet: “There was a house party that was taking place inside of a house. At least seven people inside were shot and three are deceased.
They are not being identified until the next of kin has been notified. We do not feel the general public is in any danger at this time and are working to get suspects identified.”
He added they did not have a motive for the shooting at this time. An investigation into the shooting has been launched.
A photo taken close to where the shooting took place showed police had cordoned off a section of the street and at least two police cars stationed nearby.
