A highway accident caused by a driver incorrectly in southeast Georgia has killed two people and seriously injured another, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
The fatal collision of 17 US aircraft occurred in Brian County, southwest of Savannah. Corporal. Dante Williams of the State Patrol said a driver who was traveling north in a southbound lane collided with a pickup truck.
Williams said the driver who missed the road was killed, as was a passenger in the pickup truck. The policeman said that the truck driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Later, Brian County coroner Bill Cox identified the two people who had been killed: Sergio Miguel Ortega Gonzalez of Liberty County and Jessica Thornberg of Bloomingdale.
