
Three teenage girls were killed in a single car crash on Bainbridge Island, and authorities said speed was a factor.
Police and paramedics responded to the 11000 block from Sunrise Drive around 9 p.m. After receiving reports of a serious accident.
The three teens, ages 14 to 16, were found dead at the crash site.
All three were students at Bainbridge High School.
The school has a mobile crisis team and emotional support counselors available to respond.
According to a preliminary investigation, the car was traveling south before veering off the road and rolling.
The accident is still under investigation.
