TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (AP) — A woman in her 60s has died in a house fire in Taylorsville, officials with the Unified Fire Command said.
The fire was reported by another woman who lived at the residence, officials said.
Crews tried to rescue the woman inside, but were unable to, said Unified Fire Authority spokesperson Patrick Coston.
There was heavy damage to at least one bedroom, Coston told the Deseret News.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The woman’s name hasn’t been released.
