1 Killed in Bicycle Accident at Roscoe Boulevard and Sepulveda Boulevard in North Hills

A man was killed in a bicycle accident that happened at an intersection in North Hills, Los Angeles.

According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened at about 4:20 a.m, in the area of Roscoe and Sepulveda boulevards.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Bureau said a dark-colored Toyota Camry was traveling east on Roscoe when it struck the bicyclist who was traveling south Sepulveda Boulevard.

The 38-year-old bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was withheld pending notification of the next of kin.

The driver of the involved vehicle did not stop at the scene after hitting the bicyclist and was yet to be located.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
