The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) said that two people died in the wreckage of two cars.
The accident occurred at 11:45 pm. On Highway 480 near Highway 77.
The 2017 Chevrolet Cruze was in the eastern lanes of the I-480 when a 2011 Ford Escape bumped it into the rear, according to OSHP.
The accident caused Cruz to move down the left side of the road. The Occupational Health and Safety Bureau said the car hit a handrail and fell in the middle.
The escape took off from the right side of the road after the accident. OSHP said the car went on a bridge, and ran into a guardrail and concrete bridge wall.
OSHP said the driver and minor passenger in Escape perished in the accident.
OSHP said four other passengers on board the escape, two minors and two adults, were taken to local hospitals by EMS.
The cruise driver was slightly injured.
