Teen arrested in Albuquerque triple shooting; 2 women killed

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — A 15-year-old youth has been arrested on suspicion of murder and other crimes in the shootings of three people, including two women who died incident in Albuquerque, police said.
The teen is accused of going to an apartment complex and fatally shooting Aerial Mallam, 21 and Jessica Casaus Lucero, 31, and of shooting Stephen Mitchell, who survived his wounds, police said.
Mitchell returned fire and shot the teen twice, police said.
The Associated Press generally does not identify juvenile crime suspects.
An arrest warrant filed charged the youth with murder, armed robbery, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, child abuse and tampering with evidence.
