A Louisiana sheriff said three people were killed in a shooting at a gun store in the Metairie suburb of New Orleans.
Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joseph Lupinto said that someone described it as the initial shooting inside the Gun Store Outlet in the suburb of Metairie, wounding two people who were later pronounced dead.
He said that several other individuals then addressed the original suspect, both inside and outside the building, and another person died as well.
Lupinto said two other people were wounded by fire and were taken to hospital in stable condition. He said there were many shooters – whether it was the suspect initially, customers or store employees – and authorities were trying to gather information together at the scene.
