WASHINGTON, Vt. (AP) — A Washington, Vermont, man has died in a two-vehicle crash on a snow-covered road, Vermont State Police said.
Alan Holmes, 19, was traveling on West Corinth Road in Washington on Monday afternoon when he collided with an oncoming vehicle in the other lane, police said.
Holmes was removed from his vehicle and taken to Central Vermont Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said. He was then transferred to University of Vermont Medical Center, where he died, police said.
The other driver, also 19, was not injured, police said.
