3 killed in a wrong road crash in Indianapolis

Three people were killed after a driver driving in the wrong direction on a highway in Indianapolis collided head-on with another vehicle. Courtney Rice, chief of the Wayne Township fire department, said one of the vehicles was heading east in the western lanes of Interstate 70 when the accident occurred around 4 a.m., according to the Indianapolis Star.

Two people were killed in one of the cars and the driver in the other.

The state police was investigating the accident.
