2 killed in separate shooting, stabbed in Minneapolis


Two people were killed after two separate, unrelated accidents in Minneapolis overnight.

Minneapolis police said they were investigating a fatal early morning stabbing incident.

Police said they received a report of a stabbing incident in the 2000 Building on Queen’s Avenue North shortly before 4:00 a.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man in a house with a stab wound.

The Aramidian arrived at the scene and provided assistance to the victim. They took the victim to North Memorial Medical Center, where he later died.

Police are investigating the stabbing incident. No suspects are in custody.

One man was killed and another in custody after a shooting in the McKinley neighborhood of Minneapolis Thursday night.

The Minneapolis Police Department said it responded to Block 400 on 33rd Street at around 10:00 p.m. To report on the shooting.

At the scene, officers found a man inside the house of a deceased. He was suffering from a gunshot wound.

During the investigation of the accident, another man was located and detained.

The police do not think there is a threat to the public.
