Three men killed in overnight shooting at Baltimore

Three men were killed within an hour overnight throughout Baltimore, police said.

In the first incident, just after midnight, Southern District patrol officers responded to the 100 block of Baltic Ave. in South Baltimore’s Brooklyn neighborhood for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 25-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.

The man was taken to an area hospital where he later died, according to police.

Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100.

Then, Southern District patrol officers were called to the 1400 block of Filbert St. in the Curtis Bay neighborhood around 12:50 a.m. for reports an unresponsive person. When officers arrived, they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.

Medics were called and the man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Less than 10 minutes later, at approximately 12:59 a.m, Western District patrol officers responded to the 1900 block of Edmondson Ave. of West Baltimore’s Midtown-Edmondson neighborhood for a ShotSpotter alert, police said.

A 52-year-old man, whom police identified as Guy Thomas, was found suffering from gunshot wounds.

Medics were called to the scene and the man was pronounced dead, police said.
