A man died in a crash north of Toledo, while another man died of injuries sustained in an accident.

The death of Brennan Matter, 24, was announced at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, where he was transferred after 4:14 PM. Toledo police said the Northern Highway and Chrysler cars collided.

Mater was traveling east on the North Expressway when he stopped at a stop sign in Chrysler, then withdrew into the lane of a southbound vehicle driven by Sean Madden, 48, from Maomi, the investigators determined.

Mr. Madden was transferred to ProMedica Hospital Toledo to receive treatment for unspecified injuries.

Police said Robert Stubbs, 45, of Toledo, died Thursday evening from injuries sustained in a January 16th crash on Lagrange Street near Yates Street. Investigators determined that 32-year-old Christina Palais was driving north over LaGrange, crossing the midfield, and struck Mr. Stubbs’s car that was driving south.

The drivers and a 16-year-old passenger in Mrs. Palese’s car were taken to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center for treatment. The collision is still under investigation.
