Minneapolis boy, 14, accidentally shoots and kills his teenage brother

A 15-year-old boy was accidentally killed by his 14-year-old younger brother while playing with a gun found in a park north of Minneapolis.

Brandon Warren, a ninth grade student at Patrick Henry High School, was shot at his home at 4,100 blocks from Fremont Avenue North in Minneapolis around 11 p.m. His stepmother says the boys found the gun in a nearby park.

Wren died of a bullet wound to his neck. His death is classified as a homicide, but police say the shooting was an accident.

Also at home during the fatal accident were Brandon’s father and three other brothers, who are between the ages of 5 and 19.

This is the second tragedy of this family in recent weeks. The two children’s sister, 28-year-old Tiffany Scott (pictured), died of cancer and were buried just a day before the shooting.
