Oklahoma City Police shot and killed a man who reportedly shot them late at night on the Northwest Side.
The shooting was reported after 11 PM. Near Northwest 16th Street and MacArthur Street. Officers responded to a home turmoil at 1600 Block of Oak Lane. Police said they had information about a person who could be armed, so they approached cautiously.
The officers said that they were issuing orders to the person so that they could see it. That’s when that person started shooting at the officers, according to police.
Then the police responded.
One of the officers responded by shooting, struck the subject, and was killed. “He died there at the scene,” said Captain Dan Stewart.
No one, including the officers, was injured. The police did not identify the suspect.
